Painting - Gallery

Image Descriptions

As an autistic adult I continue to evolve my painting style to reflect the impacts my surrounding environment has upon my senses. Using traditional plein air techniques to reflect the expectations traditional neurotypical society has of neurodivergent individuals; my painting style also pushes outwards slightly against the traditional plein air aesthetic to depict the perceptual differences many autistic/neurodivergent individuals have of their surroundings.

Printmaking - Gallery

Image Descriptions

I frequently use printmaking techniques to illustrate the comfort that comes from repetition & familiarity when attempting to navigate a world that wasn't designed for neurodivergent thinking. Using a Diversity of themes and images from abstract to representational I use prints to illustrate my life experiences whether it's the Autistic Joy! of jumping in puddles or the analytical processing of data & direction necessary to succeed while serving in the United States Coast Guard.
